Our Services
Workplace Investigations
Dealing with misconduct, bullying, and behavioural issues in the workplace can be fraught with difficulty for employers. If these issues are not dealt with correctly they can lead to loss of productivity; employees feeling that they have been treated unfairly; and the expense and time of defending challenges in industrial tribunals such as the Fair Work Commission.
We undertake workplace investigations that comply with the principals of procedural fairness and adhere to obligations imposed by legislation, awards, and industrial agreements. Our processes are fair to all parties, and our conclusions are evidence-based. Our reports to clients are comprehensive and easy to read. The impartial and objective process that we offer means that you can be confident the outcome will be both procedurally and substantively fair.
Consulting Services
We provide advice and guidance to management and supervisors on how to effectively manage performance issues, behavioural issues, and workplace conflict including bullying. Dealing with these situations is often the most difficult aspect of a manager’s role. We offer professional and objective advice and mentoring for management undertaking this role.
In some instances, behavioural issues can be widespread within organisations to the extent that they can become imbued in the organisational culture. We can undertake investigations to determine the causes of this, and provide practical advice and assistance on how to improve your organisation’s culture.
Industrial Advocacy
We provide industrial advocacy services for employers and employees. We can provide advice and representation in dealing with all employment-related issues. Our Principal, Brendan Cusack, has over 20 years’ experience appearing in industrial tribunals, and is a Registered Industrial Agent with the WA Industrial Relations Commission.
